C-Fan White Paper

NEOFAN'S C-FAN TECHNOLOGY IS THE FIRST AND ONLY COMMERCIALLY VIABLE ALTERNATIVE TO THE 140-YEAR-OLD ROTARY ELECTRIC FAN.

This white paper describes how the physics of C-Fans provides an architecture for meeting the escalating performance requirements of outdoor power electronics cooling; namely higher air flows and pressures with lower fan noise and much longer lifetimes in harsh outdoor environments.

Current development points towards C-Fan’s potential to reduce the strength of fan noise sources by 66%, produce 80% more airflow at a given dBA noise level, life extension of 5x or more while providing size, weight, power and cost equivalent to rotary fans.
