The latent sensor cleaning potential of Synjets has attracted interest in the auto industry, when compared to the air compressors currently being used. The synjet potential for size and weight reduction and its unique fluid dynamics for cleaning effectiveness, have inspired some testing in the auto industry. But the only synjets available were piezo-driven and couldn’t deliver the air velocities and flow rates needed for effective cleaning. Meaningful air performance requires large volumetric displacements far beyond what piezo actuators can provide.
NeoFan’s Integrated Design synjets are electromagnetically driven and provide the large volumetric displacements needed for sensor cleaning air velocities and flow rates. The Integrated Design enables the sensor cleaning potential of synjets for mobility, robotics, drones, and autonomous air transportation.
Compared to air compressors, the Integrated design enables dramatic reductions in size and weight without loss of performance, which is always a primary added value in mobility.
